Management (Board Members)
Kamil EREN earned his doctorate in the USA and taught at the Middle East Technical University's Department of Civil Engineering from 1980 to 1985. Subsequently, he conducted research in Germany, served as a United Nations expert, acted as Chief Advisor to the Turkish Prime Minister from 1996-1997, and worked at Istanbul Cultural University from 2004 to 2020.

Fahri Kartal is a highly skilled Geodesy, GPS, GIS, and Image Processing Specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Surveying, a Master's degree in Geodesy, and a Ph.D. in Geodesy. He has significant experience in various geospatial projects, including urban mapping, geodetic surveys, and IT initiatives. His role as a Regional Manager and Project Manager in Saudi Arabia involved managing complex GNSS projects for cadastre, urbanization, and geospatial data collection.

Cenk Şen

Cenk ŞEN graduated from the Turkish Army War College, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department. He served as a signal officer in different fields, including Cable, Radio, and Satellite Communications Systems and Encryption. After graduating from Middle East Technical University, Department of Computer Engineering, he received his master's degree from Bilkent University. Having worked at the Turkish Armed Forces and NATO in different ranks, he retired in 2014 as a Senior Colonel after 22 years of successful service.
Yavuz Eren

Yavuz Eren graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) in 1998. He completed his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (on robotic systems using artificial muscles) at Rutgers University followed by a master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
Naci Koru
Chief Advisor
Naci Koru studied International Relations at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences.
In 1981, he started working at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In his 38-year career at the Ministry, he has worked both in Turkey and in Turkey’s diplomatic representations around the world.
He was the Ambassador of Turkey to Saudi Arabia between 2007 and 2009. He then worked as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2012 to 2016.
Mustafa Ay

Mustafa AY completed his master's studies in Science and Technology Policies at Gazi University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He started his career at The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) in 1989 as an Assistant Specialist. His field of expertise extends to science and technology policies, technology management, R&D and innovation supporting mechanisms, SME supporting instruments, and national and regional innovation systems.

During this period Mr. Uçar completed his MSc at Istanbul Technical University and PhD at Selçuk University on Photogrammetry Science. After the Mapping Agency, he started to work in Geo Tech Group, Saudi Arabia as a Project Manager between 2013 and 2016. He is still working at Jeo-Tek Company, Turkey as a Company Manager.

Baturalp Arıkal studied industrial engineering at Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey). He received his master's degree in the same field from the same university. He is a seasoned professional in the defence industry, with 25 years of experience in developing and managing communication and command & control systems. He started his career at Aselsan, a leading Turkish company in defence electronics, where he held various positions, including software engineering manager, project manager, and product manager.
Technical Team
Between 1995 and 2018, Mustafa Erdoğan worked as a Geomatics Engineer and Manager in different units of the General Directorate of Mapping which is the National Mapping Agency of Turkey. In 2018, he retired from the General Directorate of Mapping and started to work as Photogrammetry Manager at Jeotek Company. He has been the director of many national and international projects throughout his career and has published more than 70 academic publications in his field.

Between 2000 and 2020, Mehmet Erbaş worked as a Geomatics Engineer and Manager in different units of the General Directorate of Mapping which is the National Mapping Agency of Turkey. Besides, He worked as a lecturer of Geographic Information Systems and Introduction to Engineering Programming at the Turkish Military Academy and Defence Institute.

Suleyman Arslan's educational background includes a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Selçuk University, which he completed in 1998. His skills and abilities span a diverse spectrum in the realm of Geographic Information Systems, encompassing project management, system/requirement analysis, design and management of geospatial databases, and the implementation of GIS system architecture.
